When John received a motorcycle from Open Eyes donors, it added new dimensions to his ministry.
He has been able to support his neighbors and community by using the motorcycle to ferry sick people to hospitals as well as visit and minister to the sick in their homes.
Having the motorcycle has also motivated him to think of new ways to spread God’s Word. He now uses his motorcycle to meet and minister to different groups of people. He goes to schools, women’s groups, and orphanages, among others, to share Christ’s love. He has been able to reach unreached villages in his area with the Gospel and plant churches because of such evangelism activities. He also uses it to make regular visits to his congregation that weren’t possible before. He reached people like Mzee, a new believer John shared the Gospel with over the course of several visits.
John believes that the motorcycle is a blessing that has aided in the growth and expansion of God’s Kingdom in his region.
