Dear Friends,

This week, Open Eyes launched our ministry in Nepal with the help of our national leader, Santosh, who is faithfully and fearlessly leading the church in the Himalayan region. By the grace of God, we equipped 16 new Mobile Messengers with motorcycles.

I spent the week in Nepal with Jerry, our VP of Global Ministry, and Ciera, our Communications Director. Believers came from across the country to meet with us. It was a beautiful time of worship, service, and prayer, which culminated in the commissioning of 16 Messengers and two baptisms. Over the past three years, these Messengers have planted 31 churches, which are now part of the Open Eyes family. Praise God!

I want you to know that your support is changing lives.

This ministry is inherently relational. We don’t march into countries and perform crusades, we come alongside the believers who already live there and need our help, love, and support. One Mobile Messenger cried as he received his bike and told us he’d been praying for five years that God would provide him with one.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing some of the testimonies we heard from the mission field. Their stories moved us to tears. And I think you’ll be just as amazed as we were about how God is moving in Nepal.
