My wife Bella, our COO Alex Lim, and I were honored to speak at a retreat for missionaries in the outskirts of Seoul, South Korea, hosted by Footstool Missions Center. Their goal is to serve and bring together long-term missionaries, organizations, local churches, and those interested in getting involved in missions.

What we experienced on the ground was nothing short of extraordinary. We were in the presence of true modern-day heroes of the faith — a group of doctors, engineers, nurses, church planters, teachers, and business leaders from 17 countries who have decided to put their lives and security at risk by serving in some of the most dangerous countries in East Asia

We were humbled and honored to encourage these courageous individuals with the Word and with our own stories. The opportunity to share meals with each family and hear their story left a profound impact on our hearts.

We are also thrilled about the potential impact Open Eyes could have on some of the toughest places for the Gospel in partnership with our dear friends at Footstool.

Given the unique security considerations in that region, we are not able to share many details about the countries, ministries or people involved. We cannot even show you pictures of the people we met.

Please pray for Footstool and the people who are part of their network. We need your prayers for wisdom as we discern our way forward in East Asia.

2023 is off to a phenomenal start, and we look forward to a productive and fruitful year. Thank you for your prayers!
