I have been ministering in an area where we planted a church. We have run into a lot of opposition recently from the people in the areas surrounding the church. [During] prayer meetings, people from outside the church came and objected to us conducting prayers. They told us to stop using the sound system speakers and microphones. They also warned us not to proceed with meetings or carry out any preaching work in the area. For some time they have even tried closing our church and preventing people from coming to the church. We have been continuing in prayers and seeking God’s grace and mercy to open up the hearts and minds of people around us.

As days went by, we reasoned with the people and have been conducting meetings [quietly] with not much use of the sound system or speakers. We are still continuing in prayers and seeking God’s divine intervention to get things resolved. We need your prayers and support so that there is no hindrance or obstacle to our preaching work.

After some time we noticed that there was opposition from other quarters, namely the nominal Christians belonging to other Christian denominations. They have objected to our Gospel work, telling us that what we are preaching is not real Christianity, and they told us to stop conducting meetings in the church. They have also tried preventing our regular church members from attending the church. Our Church has been growing in number, and currently, about 20 members are regularly attending our service. We are earnestly praying that all the opposition and the hindrances will end soon and that we will be able to worship and glorify the Lord with freedom and no fear of opposition. We are praying that our preaching will go on smoothly without any problems. We request all your prayers and support regarding the current problems we are facing.
