I’m Narsimha Rao, a Mobile Messenger in South Asia. I reach out to villagers by visiting them in public places and sharing the Gospel with them.

I tell them about God’s love and the concern God has for everyone. I listen to their problems and tell them about the Word of God and how it has solutions to all their problems. I also pray for them if they are willing to be prayed for.

I have been carrying out this ministry work for some time, but in recent weeks I have faced some hurdles from people with [local groups who oppose my presence in the area]. They have questioned my right to preach and asked me if I carry any license or have permission to preach in the village. They also told me that I can do all the preaching in my church and not in public places. They have threatened me with dire consequences if I continue preaching outside the church.

I continued praying for God’s grace to provide a solution to the opposition and the problems we were facing. We started prayer meetings and conducted fasting and prayer. We were strengthened in faith through the Word of God and recalled how even the apostles went through a lot of persecution in their days. They overcame tough situations through continuous prayers and God’s protection. We were all emboldened after reading the Word and built up faith [as we overcame] obstacles.

We sought God’s grace through prayers before going into a discussion with the people from [the opposition groups]. By God’s grace, all issues were discussed and solutions found peacefully. With a few conditions and restrictions agreed upon, we were allowed to resume our ministry work.
