Meet Soraya, a 23-year-old counselor at our Lebanon Life Center, where she has been making a meaningful impact since joining in March. Soraya is from Lebanon and has a degree in Psychology. Our team had the pleasure of meeting her on their recent short term trip there.

Although she grew up attending church, it was at the Life Center where her faith in Christ truly blossomed, thanks to the weekly chapel services. Soraya finds immense joy in her work, connecting with people and offering counseling services, and she is genuinely passionate about what God has called her to do.

When asked what message she would like to convey to Open Eyes supporters, Soraya said, “There are no words to describe how we feel. Thank you! We are so thankful.” Her story is a testament to the positive impact one person can have on the lives of others.

I want to echo Soraya’s thankfulness. Your prayers and support are helping spread the love of Christ in a powerful way. I also want to ask that you keep praying for the safety of our partners in the Middle East.
