The news may be grim, but we serve a God of justice and peace.

We want you to know exactly where your support goes, which is why we are committed to sharing updates as we receive them. These are pictures and testimonials from Christians in Ukraine—we have partnered with United World Mission to supply support to Christians serving on the ground. Funds are being distributed through seminaries and related churches in Ukraine, which are sheltering refugees and assisting them as they relocate to safer areas inside and outside the country.

Sofia’s Story:

Sofia is a Ukrainian girl from Bucha. In the war, she lost her mother, her arm, and her cat. Our friends tell us that Sofia is in a safe home right now but “she shudders at every sound and is afraid of planes.”

Lifesaving work:

This is a direct quote from our partners on the ground: “Our first aid kits, turnstiles, and bungees at the front save lives. A few days ago, a Christian officer from the same unit and several of his fellow soldiers survived only by God’s grace. A Russian tank fired at their car, and a shell shot through the car, but none of the soldiers were killed…Have mercy on them and protect them, O Lord!”

Where You Come In:

“For you, it may be just a $20 bill… For our Ukrainian people in the war zone, where grocery and medical stores do not work, it means a box of food and medical help for a week. $20 = 1 box = 1 week of life for one person. Thank you so much for your support, and please pray for our volunteers who often deliver food supply under shelling. Peace be with you.” — Taras Dyatlik
