Open Eyes began in Africa over ten years ago.

This spring, we went back to the beginning: we met with Mobile Messengers from across East Africa and heard their testimonies and struggles and stories. 

The Mobile Messengers are living out their ministries in incredibly difficult contexts; many of them are refugees, shepherding congregations even as they pray for peace in their homelands.
